MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT GMS
My Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Jai Mohyal
I hope all my Mohyal Brothers and Sisters are in good health. As we welcome the vibrant festival of Holi, I extend my warmest wishes to each one of you. May this festival of colors bring joy, harmony, and prosperity to your families and our Community. Holi is a time to celebrate unity and togetherness, values that resonate deeply within our Mohyal fraternity. Let us use this occasion to reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and working towards a brighter future for all.
This past month has been eventful and productive. The President and Secretaries Meet was held successfully, on 9th February, 2025 bringing together dedicated Community Leaders from various regions. It was heartening to witness meaningful discussions by Presidents and Secretaries of local Sabha’s. The focus on key priorities – ensuring no child in our community is left behind in education and empowering young widows to become financially independent and living with dignity, were highlighted. These are crucial areas where collective efforts can make a lasting impact, and I am grateful for the support and dedication shown by all participants.
Additionally, a significant milestone was achieved with the EGM held on 9th February, 2025, during which important amendments to our constitution were discussed and approved by our esteemed members. These changes reflect our commitment to evolving with the times, while upholding the values and principles that define our Community. I extend my sincere gratitude to the Secretary General Lt Col L.R Vaid (Retd) and his team members for their hard efforts in meticulously organising both the events, and Shri Rit Mohan, Secretary Public Relations, for ably conducting the event as the Stage Secretary.
May we all continue to uplift our Community together.
Wishing good health and happiness to each one of you.
Yours affectionately,
Vinod Kumar Dutt President GMS
